We are aware that the railways of Vietnam from an enthusiasts standpoint are not covered very well on the Internet.

We hope that you will find this Gallery both interesting and informative.

Photos taken between December 20, 2008 and January 03, 2009 - a period in which the sun totally failed to appear

The Vietamese equivalent of the Bullet Train (I think they have some things to learn on aerodynamic front-nose technology)

Class D8E-1001 (one of only two locally 2003 built locos, and both are still in service) seen here at  Hanoi workshops on December 26, 2008
