The historic Route 66 from Kingman runs parallel with the railway line northwards towards Peach Springs but until Hackberry it is not possible to get to the right side of the line for photography, and Valentine has the first railroad crossing (about 25 miles from Kingman). These shots were taken in the area of that crossing.
