No.572 "British Columbia" in Dematagoda shed yard on December 30, 2007

No.629 is currently the only operational Class M2D (No.628 is in Ratmalana workshops)

The M2Ds have extra air ducts, fans and filters on the stub end of the loco making them quite distinctive

Location was Dematagoda shed on December 30, 2007
