Metre Gauge YP Class Pacific No.2030 at Malkajgiri on Train S27 up 14:45hrs Bolarum to Secunderabad on March 07, 1980. This was part of the Secunderabad Suburban service where YP and YG ran the steam hauled services which were tightly timed and produced much fast running

Broad Gauge Pacific WP No.7303 at Jhaja on Train 50 down Amritsar Express from Amritsar to Calcutta on February 25, 1980

Narrow Gauge B Class 0-4-0ST No.779 at a water stop whilst working Train 1D up 07:38hrs Siliguri to Darjeeling. This was an 1892 vintage Sharp Stewart locomotive on the Darjeeling Himalaya Railway on February 29, 1980
